Mature female parr are only rarely observed in natural populations and were also set to happen very seldom in IBASAM; Parameters were setup according to this hypothesis (see the corresponding SM3 and SM7 parameters in XXXX).

## Modeling

During the reproduction process, anadromous males (AM) and mature parr (MP) were pooled together with the anadromous females. Each AF_i was attributed randomly a potential number of AM as potential mates according to a Poisson distribution of parameter MeanNMales (Table 2).
